i feel like people are making some huge assumptions about jace & the echoverse. it's pretty clearly stated in the previews that jace DOES NOT literally control every little detail of the echoverse. that's the whole point-- it ECHOES. there are UNINTENDED consequences of jace's what-if wishes.
