I haven’t really shared my thoughts on Ravenous but it looks amazing, absolutely best case scenario for Metroid 6! I prefer my slower, moodier Metroids and Dread wasn’t my favourite, but that game is still great and I’m glad they’ve committed to the style hard to make something genuinely fresh!!

Some people are saying that Ravenous might be their first Metroid game Imagine THAT as your first Metroid. That would be so cool

They still do, at least Nintendo of America does. If you watch a UK Nintendo Direct you'll see that they just say "game" instead of "the [game] game" like in the US. Which means that they make the narrator record two versions of the same line every time he mentions the name of a Nintendo game.

I need to remind everyone, especially after their presentation today. Level-5 has been very openly using Generative AI in their game development and are proud of it. This includes their newly announced titles such as New World of Steam, Yo-Kai Watch 2 and Curious Village Remake.

Wow it's hard to believe by the time Metroid Ravenous and Kirby And the World Beyond come out both their predecessors will be 5 years old. Dread and Forgotten Land really don't feel like they came out that long ago.
