Erik Petersen (aka Mischief Brew) probably influenced me more than any other songwriter as a young artist. He was kind and generous to me when i just starting out, and you can hear the influence of his brash folk-punk poetry in my early recordings. We lost Erik 10 years ago today. A toast friend 🥃

multiple things can be true at once: 1) there shouldn't be billionaires 2) since there ARE, it's interesting to see one spending money on being an ocean nerd in the name of science, instead of feeding us to machines and destroying democracy 3) valve's 30% cut of steam sales is too high
