I am deep into the wildfire algorithm on IG and wow there are a whole lot of conspiracy theories going. Apparently because trees still stand after a fire, but houses (sadly) burn fully, then its all about targeted weapons from space and weather control, and probably something about Israel.

Yesterday was my dad’s unveiling, a Jewish ceremony when the tombstone is unveiled, usually about 1 year after they pass. This was both difficult, being confronted with the finality of my dad dying, but also heartening, because friends and family showed up.

Denying FMAGs (FEMA fire management grants) is a big deal. Especially for the kind of fire outbreak that OR has gone through the past few weeks. A troubling development and hopefully not a trend as we hit the heart of fire season.
