Despite companies continually laying off accessibility folks, I continue to see people still in those companies pushing for accessibility. Too many people know this matters now, that shared understanding cant be laid off.
I am a firm believer that accessibility cannot die. Tides may rise and fall, but accessibility is inevitable. Players know it, most businesses know it. The future is accessible. Let’s support each other during this time. Remember how far we’ve come, and how much further we will inevitably go 🫂♥️

Really bummed out today. Fortnite “nerfed” their audio visualizer—something I absolutely need as a deaf player—and now the feature is basically useless for me personally and I can no longer play the game anymore.
