80% of the country is pissed off about something and they're blaming GOP incumbents for it, the worst possible strategy for a Dem challenger is to tell the base "I don't share your values" while also telling swing voters "I'm so out of touch I think 'men in women's sports' is a real concern."

If you pre-order a book, it should be shipped to you in time to arrive on the pub date. Shipping a pre-order on pub date fundamentally misunderstands the motivation of pre-orderers. We want the book NOW and lack impulse control or patience.
