Personally, I do think that horror is a broad genre. I love writing, reading, and watching it because horror is supposed to be uncomfortable, introspective, and shouldn’t leave you with any neat solutions. It has to be a little mean and very honest. If a horror story can’t do that well… I’ll pass.
