there are a lot of “wait what” moments when you learn about comics but “cathy was a stone cold smokeshow” is up there

I remember talk in the 90s and 00s that Cathy was a bad representation of women as it portrayed her as too body and men obsessed but I think we need to reevaluate Cathy because maybe the problem is that the humor was laser-focused for women over 35. I have had this exact inner conversation 😭
