If you won a primary it does not become the job of your former opponent to convince people to vote for you. Your opponent may choose endorsement and may choose to encourage support but ultimately it is your responsibility to convince the voters who were skeptical of you to now support you.
I want the statement "Black Americans are conservative" to absolutely die in a fire. It's a lie from the pits of hell. Black America's record demonstrates that, as a whole, we are the MOST progressive racial/ethnic demographic in the United States and it's not even close.
It’s only now that I realize that for a lot of those assholes, they think our people didn’t do or go far enough to make that progress. They’re just too chickenshit to come out and say it.

FDR got elected 4 times because he passed the New Deal laws. How did he accomplish that feat? FDR compromised with Southern Dems to ensure that Black Americans wouldn't be able to benefit from the New Deal policies. Just as she's showing, white America makes deals to save themselves and fuck others

Where was unity & fighting for democracy in November 2024? These same folks held their votes & openly campaigned against Dem candidates.... we didn't have to be here. There's permanent damage being done that will never be fixed.... so please...
regardless of which candidate you support I really hate this bit where pundits pretend being electable in a primary makes you electable in the general election just ask senators Hershel Walker, Blake Masters, Todd Akin, Richard Mourdock, and Sharron Angle how that worked out for them
I saw a poll from Michigan showing almost 70% of Black ppl are voting for Stevens. Why? My guess it's because it polls show her beating the Republican. Black ppl are pragmatic voters. There is no reason the Dems shouldn't win the Senate. But between Platner and El-Syed it's gonna be tight.

I wish I found it hard to believe that you hired a very white lady to say Black voters are stupid instead of finding a Black writer to explain the litany of concerns they address when Black people choose their candidates.

I live in a different part of the country but want to support Black people's right to vote. I wonder if someone has established a fund to help pay for transportation to and from voting centers for people who need it. I would definitely contribute to this type of fund.
So the Progressives/DSAs replace every incumbents Democrat. Your policies will not be implemented across the country if you don't have the votes to change any policies in either chambers of Congress or local governments (statehouses).
