Empower the learner. Co-author of “Invent to Learn: Making, Tinkering, and Engineering in the Classroom” Publisher, CMK Press- Modern Books for Modern Learning.

Learning should be about learning. Not jobs. When we tell kids to learn science, math, coding, etc. for the "good jobs" and then the job market changes, it destroys the premise. Schools can do a better job of creating pathways for student interest to turn into powerful ideas.

Couple of days ago I had to go the local DMV. It was chaotic and crowded, but the people there were efficient and kind. The system was working. They had people out on the floor translating, redirecting, explaining. Just a reminder that government has to work for everyone, and sometimes it does.

This is a fantastic book. Written in a straightforward and concise manner by someone who knows what we need to hear about AI and learning. My copy arrived a few days ago, along with another yellow book. Both wonderfully calming and inspiring to read given the brain-cycle stealing current events.

Hi companies- if you send out an email about the exciting new features of your BiDXP 2.3 product but don’t tell me what the darn thing is I’m going to unsubscribe. No one lives in your world. Live in my world and I’ll listen.

One of the great features of BlueSky is that anytime someone I follow leaves a comment on a post of someone I don't follow, I see that original post. I've been able to discover some great new people to follow and some excellent posts this way!

Just a reminder to the young’uns that in the olden days there were MAGAZINES that PRINTED WHOLE COMPUTER PROGRAMS and we had to TYPE THEM IN line by line because that was a reasonable way to make our own computers do fun things. (and for us to learn a bit by osmosis) #TeamCompSci #CSEdWeek
