After four days of bruteforcing and spending over $900, the FULL version of FFVII Dirge of Cerberus Lost Episode has been preserved by @yuvi.app! The game's SD card data, which it fully relies on, remained encrypted until now. Despite being 9MB, the game contains cutscenes and voice acting.

Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate is a game so intimidatingly big, I just crossed 100 hours of playtime and am still discovering new mechanics and unlocking new stuff lol

Seeing how many AI slop recomps that are releasing almost seemingly daily is mind boggling to me because personally if I don’t know how to do something, I just don’t do it, like it’s crazy to me that so many people are like “I am entirely unequipped to make this but I’ll do it anyway”

so sick of all of these low-effort "recomps." Devs spent years disassembling, translating and commenting Mario 64, others made APIs and translation layers to make recompilation more effective and now fuckin slop coders are standing on the shoulders of both to make what is functionally bad emulation

There’s something incredibly cool about how dedicated the modding scene for old football games are Like the most well known example is Bomba Patch, the Brazilian mod for PES6 on PS2 which is crazy popular But even the Vita versions of FIFA get yearly mods to update the roster to the current day??

Wandering aimlessly through a sudden storm in BS Zelda no Densetsu: Inishie no Sekiban (SNES, 1997). A weekly broadcast "Soundlink" Satellaview game originally intended to stream high quality music and voice alongside the game.

Tech news so bad right now it’s got me rewatching old episodes of Digital Foundry direct to reminisce on a time when I didn’t have to hear about AI daily
