We've got primary results in four Alabama congressional districts coming tonight. The one to watch is the Republican primary in AL-02, redrawn by the Alabama Legislature after the Supreme Court allowed the state to use a map it once deemed racially discriminatory.

I will be voting early in order to keep my November 3rd open for touring commitments. Indeed, I tend to vote (in person) as early as possible because a) I generally know who I am voting for, b) especially in these latter years I want to protect my vote from nefarious hijinks.

and if you do NOT know these things, this tied it all together in a way that made it make a horrifying kind of.... I can't say sense. the evil will never make sense to me. but I see the coherent motivation behind the incoherent (to me) hypocrisy a lot better now.

Even if you think you know these things, seeing them all together and placed in a big picture creates so much context for our country right now. It is ILLUMINATING.
