If folks in the Democratic party cannot find it within themselves to be absolute staunch supporters of trans people's rights because trans people are people who have inherent worth, then they should at least do it because if we give up on trans people, then we're literally giving up on democracy.

BREAKING: Paramount has reached a settlement with California and other states suing to block its acquisition of Warner Bros, per Bloomberg. The settlement comes after California AG Rob Bonta caved and stopped trying to block the merger. The final four holdout states have now conceded as well.

I feel extremely lucky to have had the honor of not only seeing Tim Curry interviewed at a Rocky Horror screening at the Academy Museum last year, but to get to sit directly behind him and watch him enjoy the film. He was brilliant, he was funny, he was one of a kind.

The reason Harry Potter Adults are so bad is because for a long time there were totally normal Harry Potter Adults who did things like use their fandom to raise money for charity but then Joanne went absolute horses and all the normal adults ditched the fandom so the only ones left are total ghouls.

Reminder that in August of last year Trump fired the person tasked with releasing jobs reports because the report was bad, and replaced her with a stooge. Now the stooge releases job reports that are "surprisingly great!" and they're just reported as fact with no context.

AP article from August 1 2025: President Donald Trump on Friday removed the head of the agency that produces the monthly jobs figures after a report showed hiring slowed in July and was much weaker in May and June than previously reported. Trump, in a post on his social media platform, alleged that the figures were manipulated for political reasons and said that Erika McEntarfer, the director of the Bureau of Labor Statistics, who was appointed by former President Joe Biden, should be fired. Last night was my 5th time Springsteen show and was honestly surprised at how emotional I got. After all of yesterday, being in an arena full of people channeling anger and frustration into joy was magical. Also, @brucespringsteen.net rocked as hard as I’ve ever seen him & Tom Morello just shreds!
