It's wild that we're encouraged to embrace 'Indigenous AI', but imagine if I phrased it as 'Indigenous nuclear war'. "Indigenising" is not the same as decolonising or abolishing systems of harm. Fanon (1961) warned us the native/colonized petit bourgeoisie would align with capital + empire.
Let’s also not pretend that Canadian values didn’t included subordinate support of American imperialism especially in the Americas
The death of neoliberalism does not necessarily mean something better. Or something anti-capitalist.
the Actual Death of neoliberalism would firstly mean a reversal of Carney's policies, starting with austerity and, well, all of them

Just received the following response from the Director of Communications for the Office of Ottawa Mayor Mark Sutcliffe to my questions about the credibility of this website: "I was not able to do further looking into the company. I don't have a quote for you”
Rob Shaw is nervous that if the politicians he writes about start fleeing the non-consensual sex image generation website he posts on, his account with 33,000 followers will be useless
Kinda incredible it was only four days ago that the US launched an unprovoked attack on another country, kidnapped its head of state and announced it was now “running” it and there have already been 2 or 3 other crises since then that have bumped it from the top of the news cycle

"We’re monitoring what you do online. Disseminating, writing, or publishing inciting content online is considered a terrorist crime in every sense and may lead to arrest or imprisonment. We have warned you." Israel warns Palestinians that posting about their suffering will be considered terrorism.
How many more statements of meaningless denunciation - empty of one single consequence for unrelenting genocide, war crimes and crimes against humanity - must Palestinians endure Minister @anitaoakvilleeast.bsky.social?

They’re now calling this a K-shaped economy. Guess which part of the K most of us are?
What we have now is a two-tiered society with a wealthy few at the top and the vast majority of Americans struggling to make ends meet. It’s corrosive to our economy and democracy.

The BCOne collapse is basically this Community meme. Or maybe it’s Casablanca, and BCOne leadership is shocked, shocked! To see anti-semitism sneak into their wholesome Injun hating genocide denialist group.
The social media history of this 22 year old staffer is being blamed for the rift tearing B.C.’s far-right OneBC party asunder #bcpoli thetyee.ca/News/2025/12...
So Trump is asserting Reiner’s son murdered his father because he was angry about his father’s views on Trump? And… He doesn’t actually condemn his supporters murdering their parents..?
