Who, Trek, Bond, Transformers and Kamen Rider nerd. Has spent a decade writing about Transformers comics, with my current big project being @revisitation.bsky.social, looking at each IDW issue in order: https://thesolarpool.weebly.com/revisitation.html

The Barber/Ramondelli "Dinobot trilogy" is a *such* a hidden gem of the IDW1 run, really fantastic stuff. For all that Grimlock got badly misused in MTMTE, it was still worth him getting exiled over there because it allowed Slag to get a proper spotlight role and ongoing arc!

Back in 2015, The Transformers: Redemption one-shot was released by IDW Publishing. Heavily focused on the Dinobots and their mission, what did you think about this comic at the time? tfnation.com/TFN-Swi... #TFNation #Transformers

The final cover has been revealed for the "Super Sentai wa Owaranai" (Super Sentai Never Ends) book written by Toei producer Shinichiro Shirakura, releasing November 18th. I expected more Rangers on the cover than just Tyrannoranger, I've gotta admit!

#TrekADay It's basically a Q episode (it's even got the same "Work out what's about to blow up the station" ending as QLess), where everyone's imagination comes to life. It's only really notable for it being Rumplestiltskin rather than a leprechaun because Colm Meaney said "Fuck off."

Michael J Anderson as Rumplestiltskin.

Halloweenathon Day 27 finishes the original Evil Dead trilogy! Which is kind of like Beyond Thunderdome, it being more action adventure romp means people my age probably know best because you could watch it as a kid. And can quote without realising where it came from ("Well hello Mr Fancy Pants").

The almost ineligible title card for Army of Darkness.

Today on Gavv... Didn't click with the similar skirt yesterday, but Sachika has apparently decided to start dressing to match her furniture. Will come in handy if she needs to hide by blending at least 50% of herself into the background though.

Sachika offers a small boy on a seat with a leopardprint pstter on it that exactly matches her trousers.

#TrekADay It's a solid Kira Learns Things Aren't So Simple Anymore one, though Behr was unhappy with the "too twinkly" guest performance. It's more interesting for having the opposite message to Insurrection: Relocating people and destroying a paradise for the greater good is the right choice.

Kira talks to an old man at his kitchen table.

Halloweenathon Day 23... Groovy. "Let's do the first but with money" leads to one of the best horror sequels of all time. Just very funny throughout (though it'd be even better if it was just Bruce Campbell being nuts rather than other people coming in.

Evil Dead II title card. The Book of the Dead on a table covered in dust.A pile of books on a bucket, on top is A Farewell to Arms.Ash with his chainsaw arm and boomstick.

#TrekADay It's an episode that dares to ask "What if the English and Irish didn't like each other very much?" Them becoming friends over a couple of years actually is a properly planned out thing, and will become a highlight of the series. Shams it starts in such a shit episode.

A stressed looking O'Brien sits in a Runabout with a puzzled O'Brien behind him.

Today on Gavv, the answer to two burning questions: Can Lango be stopped in his mass murder terrorism spree, and will Sachika's friend win the horse themed cosplay? (Isn't it cheating she's paying someone to make it for her?)

Sachika and her friend eating "The forbidden meal" under a statue of a horse hanging from the ceiling.
