Because apparently, the woman he killed being trans makes the killing more justifiable.

Maelee@bakednbougie.bsky.social · 4h agoWhen I got into the disability community I was told by a friend in their 40s that our elders are young because typically we've died and die young. I have disabled elders and they're dying. We're actually nearing the point of being elders ourselves.
A few things. 1. As others have said, this CAN be enforced, and the outcome of that scares the shit out of me. 2. People treating anti-ace sentiments as non-oppression have indirectly contributed to this outcome. 3. I hope Trump doesn't attempt to say the name of this country...

Been going through the worst period of my life in a long time after I ended a relationship and that person moved on after weeks. I could disappear, I could go on a hiatus, but instead I'm going to put all those ugly feelings in the page and turn into something beautiful for someone else.

The discourse on antisemitism in the country is such that Mike Rogers can simultaneously attack Abdul El-Sayed *as* antisemitic, as a scary foreign Muslim critic of Israel, and also *with* antisemitism, as a tool of the foreign-born Jewish puppeteer.
Like I keep saying, this is not a "rouge" AI. This is a weapons demonstration to simultaneously tempt and scare Washington. To tell them "this is the power you can have at your fingertips" with an implied threat of "so let us be the power behind the throne or we will use it against you."

The court reversed a conviction, stating that the killer could have a new trial because the jury did not know the woman killed was trans. Trans panic in the modern era.

One of the biggest indicators of class divide out there today is that for everyone except the working class, data centers are considered critical infrastructure where as with the rise of so-called AI, Data Centers have become a symbol of the naked planned obsolescence of the US working class.

If you’re feeling bad about not doing enough it’s because we aren’t collectively doing enough. There are absolutely pockets of people making shit happen and gumming up the gears but as a whole as Americans we aren’t doing enough. That does have reason behind it, we are heavily indoctrinated.
