Trans woman, 30's, too shy and dysphoric to post (m)any pictures, She/Her

Your regular reminder that my daughter Alice’s death wasn’t counted in Appleby’s report, despite her meeting all the criteria. And when I emailed the Tavistock adult GIC to inform them they could take Alice off the waitlist, because she’d died by suicide, they never replied. It’s a disgrace.

QueerAF can reveal figures that show 618 people have died while under the care of an NHS gender clinic, at least 21 by suicide. www.wearequeeraf.com/the-deadly-t...

She's also gay, making it even more important to the BBC to censor her. Can't have the public seeing that lesbian overwhelmingly support us (more than trans people support trans people according to some polls), it would ruin the whole narrative they've been pushing for years now.

Bethany wore a “Protect The Dolls” t-shirt during rehearsals. The BBC posted it on their socials then quietly deleted and reposted it without showing her from the front. On TV last night they actually blurred the message #Strictly

“The State conceded that if the proof showed the victim’s assigned sex was the reason for the altercation between Defendant and the victim, it would be relevant to the adequate provocation element of voluntary manslaughter,” This is utterly sickening.

A Tennessee appellate court has ruled that the killing of a woman may have been justifiable because she was trans. The court reversed a conviction, stating that the killer could have a new trial because the jury did not know the woman killed was trans. Trans panic in the modern era.

Anine is one of the people who worked to expose the research misconduct against trans people at Oslo University Hospital. Yesterday, she was told she is no longer on their waitlist to receive gender-affirming care. This is so obviously retaliatory, it's hard to put into words!

We've reached the open use of anti trans slurs phase by Trump. Dems haven't done shit to call out Pete Hegseth and Nancy Mace doing it so now it's become normalized.

Today, I resigned as Vice Chair of the ODP Pride Caucus. The state party expects us to be a sales team, censoring our voices when we beg candidates not to trade on trans lives. I am still a Democrat, but I will not value party approval over true, defiant advocacy. Full text below. 👇

Part 1 of an open letter of resignation by Arienne Childrey, stepping down as Vice Chair and member of the Ohio Democratic Party (ODP) Pride Caucus. She states that party leadership treats the caucus as a recruitment and sales team rather than a representative body. She cites an incident where the ODP censored and denied permission for the caucus to post a letter by two trans leaders addressing harmful comments made by Democratic gubernatorial candidate Amy Acton. The State Party Chair reportedly called the letter an "unwelcome distraction," which Childrey notes demonstrates how little party leadership values the voices and dignity of LGBTQ+ Democrats.
Since that decision, every Caucus plan, every potential post, and every path forward has been filtered through a lens of strict compliance and ODP approval. That may very well be the party's rule, but following those rules right now is a dereliction of our duty to the LGBTQ+ community.

For me, any rule that silences advocacy for the trans community during this time is an unjust rule, and I see no obligation to follow it. In alignment with the words of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. in his Letter from Birmingham Jail:

“One has not only a legal but a moral responsibility to obey just laws. Conversely, one has a moral responsibility to disobey unjust laws.”

We are living in incredibly dangerous times for the trans community. We are in an era where the GOP has so thoroughly weaponized trans lives that even some formerly self-professing allies within our own party have fallen prey to the rhetoric. Looking at the national trend towards Democratic anti-trans triangulation, as well as our own internal conversations, it is clear to me that this shift is much more than a simple coincidence.

We have to speak up—loudly, strongly, and unapologetically—or I fear what our 2028 choices may look like. The ODP would like everyone to believe they are a "big tent" party. However, their successful efforts to silence even the Pride Caucus—even in cases where we are simply begging our candidates not to trade on our lives for perceived electoral advantage—has proven otherwise. The tent hasn't gotten any bigger; it has simply shifted, leaving many trans individuals, progressives, and allies out in the rain.

I will continue to advocate, organize, and fight for our community with everything I have. But I can no longer compromise my own moral principles by remaining part of a caucus that appears more interested in party approval than in true, defiant advocacy.

Sincerely,
Arienne Childrey

This Wednesday, Elon Musk called for the death sentence for transgender youth care providers. It was in reply to a post calling for full criminalization of all gender-affirming surgery. Musk is becoming even more radicalized in targeting trans people. Subscribe to support our journalism.

Elon Musk Calls For “Death Sentence” for GAC Providers

Musk’s posts are not just inflammatory rhetoric. They have real-life consequences.

It's easy to think 'that's just Glinner, he's an extreme example' He is not. Many GCs believe the only good trans person is a dead trans person. All the ones quoted every day in the papers believe this. They're just better at hiding it from mainstream view than this ass wrench.

How Gender Criticalism has moved on from “We just have legitimate concerns” to cheering on those who killed a trans person.

🧵 A new survey of LGBTQ ppl in Ireland has just been done by Trinity College, Dublin. It gives an idea on where we are, in the Irish state, on homophobia & transphobia. I know legacy media thinks we are on the pig’s back & they are scapegoating trans ppl - but how are we experiencing life? [1]

Its good there’s people pushing pro trans things within the labour party but i do wish they could understand that when you say “the only way back to trans rights is through the labour party one way or another“ that is very upsetting actually cause all i hear is that we’re fucked then

Holy shit. Marcy Kaptur becomes the latest Dem to release an anti-trans ad, and its worse than all the rest combined. "I voted WITH Republicans to keep transgender ideology out of schools, and let me be clear, boys should NOT play in girls sports." This is getting out of control.

The transphobes leading the Labour Party decided to exclude trans women from the Labour Women’s conference. In doing so they excluded a huge number of cis women also; the venue was only 20% full. Labour needs to learn that transphobia harms everyone, including cis women, & not just trans people.

Lots of empty seats at Labour Women’s conference.

I had my SNP MSP put out harry potter cushions especially for my arrival and have 3 other aides in the room to tell me that she can always tell who is trans, that i never had & never lost right, that "real" women deserve more than me & that I'm a danger. She is a lawyer so I can't dispute her u see

The Labour Party’s women’s conference on 26/9/26 was an embarrassing farce, with only 200 delegates of the 1,000 normal attendance (no major unions) in protest of the Labour Party’s shameful abandonment of trans people following the legally absurd ruling of the Supreme Court in FWS in April 2025.

As everyone else is doing it, here are mine. Though truth be told, this could literally be filled with every Bioware game and/or other RPG's with character customisation where I got to be the real me, even if only for a while. Stuck with just BG1, the game that started it all, for this though.

A list of games showing Srreets of Rage, Conflict Freespace, Baldurs Gate 1, FF9, X-Com, Battletech, Life is Strange, Witcher 3 and FF14.
