We went to an event this afternoon. Lots of people and noise. Not ideal for all of our chronically ill/nd family. I limited interaction which wasn't actually to difficult. Yet here I am sitting in my garden feeling lonely. #autistic

He's going on a school trip next week. Many nights away. He has already requested extra bedtime cuddles over the weekend to make up for me not being there with him. He has asked if I can be there too. No phone. No contact with his safe person. I hope this is the right thing to encourage him to do#nd

As he comes towards the end of y7 I think about how he is still very much a little boy. It has been a tiring week and last night he wanted to be picked up for cuddles while out. He still wants stories at bedtime and to read to us. He still wants to sit on my lap. He still loves his cuddly toys. #nd
