First came framing loan caps as protecting students by pressuring universities to keep costs down, with the likely outcome of pushing low-income students out of school. Here’s another policy framed as “helping,” but again premised on exclusion-- protecting students from "low-return” jobs

The law firm started working with Wall Street and that transformed its organizational identity and moral commitments. This is a case I would teach in an orgs or economic sociology course.

Spokane Rising@spokanerising.com · 4d agoHoly crap. Level 3 (GO NOW!) zone now includes urban Spokane, south of Francis to Wellesley. Level 2 (GET SET!) zone now extends east of Division. Not to be alarmist, but at this rate, it’s not inconceivable that the Old Trails Fire merges with the Fairview Fire.

The take away here is not the anthropomorphization of grass. It is that he thinks of people as the equivalent of blades of grass to be planted, mowed, or removed at his will.
