I run a Bike Share bot that highlights Bike Share operations problems. If someone ever told me to reconsider because a bad actor might use it in bad faith to argue against funding Bike Share, I'd probably have a conniption. The issue is the operations, not the reporting.

Health and infrastructure savings likely offset the revenue loss. It's not a subsidy. It's a zero-rating that may net positive.

Typically when you do PBR it's a bit upscale of condos on layout and amenities to help justify the upcharge versus renting nearby condo units, and save on opex. The Westbank approach of selling the Brad Lamb finish at a rental premium is an interesting take....

This is going to fall firmly in the category of things I'll be happily proven wrong about but I have suspicions this is only ever going to be constructed of renderite. At least as shown.

It blows my mind the amount of guff @swanboatsteve.bsky.social gets for pointing out that there is an enormous amount of operational improvements on the table that wouldn't cost a penny in infrastructure or red paint.

TTC often presents issues this way as it puts the focus outside their organization. (1)
When you provide the infrastructure that gives people safe, efficient options outside of the car, people will use it.
Yes and the practical impact of what Bravo asked for is to change parking permit application from per household (i.e. per unit) to per property. It's an attempt at straight redistribution of parking spaces towards single family housing.
Street parking is under priced, therefore over used. If there is no onsite parking, the cost of an on street permit is $24.23 + HST. Even then, a permit with on site parking is only $97.97 + HST, way cheaper than a storage locker. Where else can your rent a 2x3m space for under a dollar a day?
Not to suggest that a single bus is the solution to this issue but the Dupont bus runs on a ~30 minute schedule... The area needs better options, not permit restrictions.
