one of the perks to critical thought is that you are very rarely blindslighted 🥰 (the OP is about twitch's announcement to start using streams to train amazon AI, which DUH that's why amazon has been keeping twitch data for cheap this whole time)

I’ve taught college for 10+ years. I’ve never cared what they wore except if they were dressed or groomed in a way that made me concerned about physical or mental wellbeing or safety. A classroom isn’t the workplace. It is a place of learning, and I encourage students to come as they are/want to be.

Literally for years audiences have been giving Netflix quoi? face over their bizarre cancellations of shows people actually liked. And we keep having it explained that it's because of some secret algorithm that doesn't care if people like the shows.

I'm pretty sure what would help is Netflix not abandoning good scripted series after a single season. Because all they've been doing is conditioning viewers not to get attached.
