When the train is almost triple the cost of literally defying gravity, we have a serious problem
checking in on BOS-NY train fares for Thanksgiving week
@speakermenin.bsky.social Maybe you can introduce some legislation not allowing motor vehicle drivers to drive on the sidewalk
e-bikes are totally the problem definitely not cars no
Surely there is some mistake! There's no way this tax applies to me, a retired diplomat who lives in Paris who spent millions of dollars renovating the 12 million dollar apartment I never intended to live in. There must be some mistake
Who? Me??
“Where existing laws can be stronger enforced” Have you even thought of kicking personal cars of city employees off the sidewalk? Have the oversight committee wake up.
Every New Yorker deserves to move around our city freely and safely, regardless of how they get around. That’s why the NYC Council is launching a comprehensive review of where existing laws can be stronger enforced, and what additional solutions are needed to keep New Yorkers safe.
Last week, while walking my daughter home from camp in her stroller, a car with Virginia plates and $8000 in NY traffic fines blew threw a red light and honked at us to get out of the way while we crossed the street. Maybe start there instead of some dramatized Citi Bike nonsense.

Have you considered investigating why only 11% of reports of cars parked on the sidewalk end with a summons being issued? reports.jehiah.cz/summons_issu...

It’s cutesy, sure, but it doesn’t pretend to be something beyond a funny cute movie. I’d rather have a piece of cake that looks like a cake, even if it’s a bit sweet, than a cake dressed up as broccoli.
Is this a bit? You follow 11K people and said something non-responsive but with therapy speak. I’m guessing a bot because no actual human being could defend canceling Thanksgiving by alleging the complaining party is out of touch.
great, but the CCRB is toothless if the police commissioner could just overrule their decisions.

Tomorrow (Sunday). Come test drive a cargo bike!
Before (2019) / After (2026) Rue Ternaux in the 11th arrondissement of Paris. One line of car parking spots was removed and trees were planted in 2024.
I've been ripping MLS for their lack of advertising during this tournament but credit to them for paying France and England whatever it took to go out and play an MLS game. Great initiative from the league.
I hate that we have two Dakotas. Republicans got greedy for new states in the 1880s and we're still paying for that a century and a half later. Two states that, when combined, have the same population as The Bronx. They shouldn't get four senators.
Name the U.S. state you loathe the most, I don't care what the reason is unless it's like weird or bigoted

Next time someone tries arguing that it’s “social engineering” (cue ominous music) to give people more CHOICE to walk, bike & take public transit in their city, tell them that designing our current car DEPENDENCY has been the largest and most damaging social engineering experiment in human history.
