U.K. might lose a prime minister because a guy who worked for him knew another guy who hung out with Epstein. Meanwhile the U.S. opposition party is telling our President, who was Epstein's best friend, that his secret police should get better training so their public street murders look less messy.

Does anyone have a photo of one of those UK dual carriageways where pedestrians are expected to scurry across? If so, could I possibly get a copy to use for a talk?
Research shows that biking is very, very healthy for people 65+. Findings after reviewing 28 prior studies: "Cycling in later life links to improved mobility [and] balance." "Older cyclists often report psychosocial health, life satisfaction, and well-being improvements." doi.org/10.1016/j.jt...

Second Irish firm starts to supply Dutch-style ‘entrance kerbs’ as part of active travel range
Another Irish company has started supplying councils with Dutch-style ‘entrance kerbs’ — a key traffic-calming feature for continuous cycle paths and footpaths — as part of its range of active travel kerbs. Killeshal Precast Concrete, a company based in County Offaly, said that they are "proud to announce the official launch of our Active Travel Kerb Range manufactured here in Ireland."

The strategic road network is managed by a charity and relies on the goodwill of land owners for access. Some motorways will be muddy and flooded each winter. Also The strategic road network stops randomly at council boundaries and investment is where councils are willing. (UK edition).
If car infrastructure was designed like bike infrastructure: — motorists would have to end trip because “lane ends” — they would have to give priority to airplanes — they would have to drive longer because curvy road is more esthetic — every time they drove, someone would say “you drove here”??
If you know that cycling can be better and have the professional skills to work with others to bring these dreams to reality, then a job as Camcycle's Infrastructure Campaigner is the perfect role for you! Download a full job pack at camcycle.org.uk/workwithus Applications close on 12 January.
