Must be because Seattle’s zoning allows for more coyotes per acre than rural areas.
How urban ecology and wildlife are rapidly changing due to changes in the urban environments is amazing.
i don't know how many times over i've paid for my ebike in gas alone even before considering the lack of insurance or registration because i sold my car. genuinely lifechanging
What’s your plan if your car breaks down on a road trip? Do you have AAA? Something else? Bonus points for recent (past 2-3 years) experience with using AAA or another service.

Nashville, if you are awake rn, GO OUTSIDE!! It’s only 71F/21C and after the week we had, it feels amazinggggg
Listened to this episode this morning. I learned the Frist is not a collecting museum which means their art on display is always rotating. As opposed to some other museums which have a mix of permanent & rotating collections.
Plus, Seth shares what he's most excited about in the Frist's newly announced 2027 schedule of exhibitions and what the next 25 years could hold. Listen to this episode "How The Frist Changed Nashville's Art Scene" everywhere you get podcasts.

NES incompetence caused several people to freeze to death in their homes. They knew the electricity wasn’t coming back on but they withheld that info so ppl stayed and froze in their homes. CEO kept her job. Now they’re taking revenge on all of Nashville by indiscriminately mauling our trees.
Then, after last winter’s ice storm, the city sent a crew to trim our trees. They did so under an absurd new policy that basically ravages the trees. www.wkrn.com/news/local-n...

Great idea to keep a loaded gun in your vehicle. Just in case you need to talk it out with a fellow motorist.

Spring Hill, TN I’ve been pleasantly surprised by how many new exurban neighborhoods have 20mph speed limits.
20 mph speed limits are one those things where if a courageous mayor just did it—ahem, @mayor.nyc.gov—there would be a month of screaming before implementation and then it wouldn't take long before people forgot it was ever any different. (See also: congestion pricing, smoking bans, etc.)
⬇️ if your city is trying to build ‘artist housing’ it’s already lost the plot. Build housing of all shapes and sizes & let people live where they want. As well as subsidizing housing for those who can’t afford market prices.
The peak of San Francisco's artistic/literary ferment occurred at a time when anyone could move to the city and find relatively cheap lodging. You can't get back there, or even close, by building some designated housing for artists and then subjecting applicants to some sort of art contest.
Hey East Nashville, our fur baby prudence got outside on Sunday night and has been missing since then. She is very shy and skittish. We live in the little Hollywood section of Lockeland Springs, off the fairway of hole 12 on the Shelby golf course. If you see her, please DM me! 🦞
Housing Choices workshop tonight. Come learn about the two new zoning categories. RN & RL.
Look. Not every city can be Rochester, NY & proactively remove highways. Some cities are a little behind the curve.
We're done kicking the can down the road. Here's how we're fixing the city-owned section of the BQE.
