I cannot comprehend anyone targeting RNLI volunteers with hate and threats. I cannot understand how anyone can have anything but respect and awe for people willing to set to sea in hurricanes, with waves as high as houses, to try to save lives.

One of my personal opinions is that we need to be having students at all levels doing more creative writing. The last 20+ of writing instruction seems to have shifted towards more regimented genres of composition, but one outcome has been a detachment from writers encountering their own voice.

Really struggling with Pakistan's U19 cricket team coaches having to confirm their particulars with a Reform councillor to get him to disperse the mob gathered outside their hotel. We're in a very bad place and we're doing nothing about it.
