Ethical art is art that treats everyone involved in the process (from materials to production to creative labor) fairly and with respect—not art that adheres to a specific set of content guidelines. Don't confuse genre trappings or marketing buzzwords with the real obligations we have to each other.

I can't offer much but the obvious to all that's been said about the recent removal by sony and xbox of physical media, except that you need to curate what you play, watch and read. Don't play games that don't deserve your time. I need you to do that. Do not just do things to pass time.

I’m gripping you all with a cartoonishly large hand. Listen very closely. In media, a character does not need to openly say what they are feeling or what they are, because the director is telling you through the medium of story telling. Lighting, shot composition, music choice, etc, IS your answer

Fuck it. While I'm still mad, let’s talk about the apathy starting around AI. Do not let people online gaslight you into accepting the slop into your life. When you discover something you rely on has been secretly using it in the backend, you do not shrug. You don't just sigh and keep scrolling.

if you're upset the people you're paying a monthly fee to, in part, listen to them talk about video games aren't adhering to a boycott you care about. I would consider not giving the monthly fee on top of sending your mean email. Just a little social exercise to see if they address it.

Hard pass. Do you know how game developers used to "visualise that object in the world"? They hired concept artists. AI is a tool of Capital designed to finally and fully disenfranchise Labour. Full Stop. That's all it is, that's all they want, and if they get it that's the ball game.
