Important context missing from all the reporting I have seen so far is the fact that Kadlec is a major Lab Leaker and with one of the craziest “hypotheses” to boot - that SARS-CoV-2 was a bioweapon, specifically created to target the brain but, weirdly, also a vaccine… That’s critical context.
Max Kozlov@maxkozlov.bsky.social · 6d agoThe effort was pushed by Pentagon official Robert Kadlec, who initially sought $1.9B from NIAID—roughly one-third of the institute’s budget. After internal pushback, talks narrowed to moving up to $700M of projects, potentially scaling up over 10 years.

In the past 10 years there have been 10 education Secretaries of State and 9 for health. This is no way to run anything, leadership of my second XI village cricket team has been more stable (and probably on average more able individuals).

Really extraordinary Easter Vigil Mass I sang at: 37 confirmations!!!! Mostly also getting baptised rather than switching denominations. Nothing like it in my lifetime. We sang Byrd Haec Dies.

James Ball@jamesrball.com · 7mo agoThe accusation that the Lords are “obstructing democracy” by supporters of the assisted dying bill is a ridiculous one that shows up the flaws in this process that have been there from the very beginning – which have repeatedly been covered up by heated rhetoric (1/?)
