1/ Yesterday, we joined Rabbis for Human Rights and Bnei Avraham to erect protective fencing around Palestinian homes in Jannatah, southeast of Bethlehem. The fence was intended to help protect Palestinian families who have endured repeated attacks and intimidation by violent Israeli settlers.
As we come together on the challenges we face, & the responsibilities we must reclaim, we are reminded that critical and collective forms of education begin with critique, move toward refusal of injustice, & culminate in the development of ideas, practices, techniques, & powers to re-world together…

Including breach of contract, using the University of Ghent’s name and legitimacy to promote his racial supremacist views and causing reputational damage.
A really miserable piece of writing, wholly based in electoral impressionism. No thought for principles or the rights of migrants, and including spurious calculations about lifetime fiscal costs and benefits that simply ignore the real costs of what would happen if these workers were absent.

The modern British race-warriors maybe don’t make it this historically explicit (or perhaps they do!), but they basically want Ian Smith’s UDI and the post-war Rhodesian state, but with white British people in a numerical majority.

Great piece. The majority of immigration attention is aimed at the Earned Settlement policy and small boats. We are not talking enough about what is coming regardless. I hear similar things quoted in the piece from others in the care sector and from clients.

Among many other things, the Withdrawal Agreement is international law and supposed to protect the rights of EU citizens who were living in the UK pre-Brexit. What Reform is proposing is a significant violation of that, undermining relations with the EU on other areas. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...
