If the PM is going to achieve this, then he needs to have some serious words with the Home Office. I won’t abandon anyone to sleep rough on our streets. That’s my £442m promise | Andy Burnham

Today we begin our drive to get everyone in for Christmas. And it will be for local communities up and down the land to decide how best to do it, says prime minister Andy Burnham

Thank you to everyone who has had a look at my website and placed an order. I’m definitely feeling more positive tonight. I can do this!

My far, far better half @gailmyerscough.co.uk is having an incredibly tough month business-wise. Her website is full of amazing, stylish designs and it’d be great if you could visit her website and who knows, maybe even purchase something www.gailmyerscough.co.uk - if you could plse share this 👍👍

This is one aspect of the problem. Litigants in person use AI to generate often excessively lengthy pleadings and submissions that can seem superficially plausible but which require to be sifted through minutely to identify what is real. It’s common for LiPs not fully to understand what they submit.

Re: pervert glasses. Should it occur to anyone that they might use them to film court or tribunal proceedings, don’t do that. It’s a criminal offence.

I just can’t fathom an editor of any paper looking at that and going ‘so you haven’t put these extremely defamatory allegations to him? No worries, let’s get it printed’

Brilliant. A friend of ours took her four year old shopping for school uniform - trousers, jumper, shirt, tie on a bit of elastic etc. They got back home, he tried it all on, looked in the mirror and said “mummy, why do I look like an old man”

Ed Miliband: “My parents came here as Jewish refugees fleeing from the Nazis, and for them, Britain provided sanctuary and a beacon of hope in the fight against fascism”, adding that he would "carry that spirit, their spirit, into my work as foreign secretary". Have a word with Ms Mahmood, please

Unless this “honesty” involves the recognition that immigrants are *not* the root cause of the UK’s problems *but* actually a part of the solution to them, this will be completely pointless. I cannot stress this enough. www.theguardian.com/politics/202...

The recent low point was having a beautifully-constructed introductory module abolished without our consent, followed by school managers presenting us with a ChatGPT-generated list of topics we could teach instead. Then they got angry that we weren’t impressed.
