All you have to do is talk about these things and the public becomes politically inspired and active. It’s called leadership. That’s what you do instead of rushing to follow the polls and endorsing horrible shit while salivating over votes

Americans are increasingly aware of the surveillance systems used by almost 80 percent of police departments to trace vehicles and drivers without a warrant—and they are pissed.

Trump has demanded 15 minutes for a speech at the start of today's final round of the President's Cup (pro golf) event. The International team has ONE victory over Team USA in the 32-year history of the competition, but I'm predicting this will be the kiss of death for them today! 🤣

tucker carlson is a foppish frozen TV dinner empire heir, a virulent bigot, and a grotesque opportunist/propagandist. it's embarrassing that NPR editors think he needs more attention for his phony-ass pivot away from a nightmare he helped build

NPR headline for tucker carlson interview: "Tucker Carlson has reconsidered Trump. And quite a bit else."

At the end of the day, beyond the hatefulness, he's really just a spectacularly dumb guy. Like I'm not sure he's achieved object permanence yet. He has to be reminded which hole the food goes in. Q: China is one of the most repressive countries for journalists in the world-- TRUMP: Well, I don't know about that. I think we're repressive also

Democratic strategists: Ahhh! What's the right message!!?? Where do we moderate!?!? Jon Ossoff: This administration is horrible. I hate these people. We should put them in jail. I'm pissed Voters: This guy is cool Strategists: I can't figure it out!!!!!

Honestly, I'd say the most disastrous decisions of Obama and Biden were not really holding anyone accountable for crimes committed under the previous administration. Obama wanted to "turn the page" on Iraq and the financial meltdown while Biden never put any urgency behind the January 6th cases

What was the most disastrous decision from the most recent presidents that had effects we feel today? Clinton: Lying under oath and getting away with it (paved way for Trump) Bush: Iraq Obama: Syria and Libya Trump I: Covid and pulling out of JCPOA Biden: Running again Trump II: Iran

i think much of the democratic party's low ratings reflects a palpable sense that it is institutionally incapable of standing up for itself or going on the hunt

Republicans have made their election strategy very clear: 1) Islamophobia 2) transphobia 3) blatant lying 4) cheating / suppressing votes 5) throwing endless dark + corporate $$ at all the above When I see Democrats HELPING them on 1 & 2 - or barely mentioning the rest - I want to break bones.

we have immigrant concentration camps, diarrhea lettuce, zillion dollar gas, suicidal soldiers, measles resurgence, national park land sold to the highest bidder and teachers crowdfunding school supplies, but the real problems facing our country are a muslim senate candidate and an influencer
