My main takeaway from last night's election is (again) that everyone really wants more & stronger parties & some form of PR that breaks the two-party doom loop & doesn't require 25-50% of both parties' coalitions to regularly vote for a candidate they don't really like in general elections.

Republicans want to have 3 center-right/far-right parties to vote for, instead of just one. Everybody actually wants some form of PR/MMP/STV with 6-8 parties. I wanted Tom Steyer to be in the Governor's race, but he's not so I'm gonna vote for Becerra. I don't follow his campaign at all: I'm voting for him because he's not a Republican.

Kansas' Amendment 1 is losing 71-29 and getting crushed in numerous Trump counties with 26% of votes in. These look over

Looks like a 10-15 point polling miss in Michigan regardless of who wins. And people have been writing a lot of electability takes using this data. It’s dangerous out there folks be safe
One way to be safe is to never write an electability take

As soon as a controversial nominee or a bill has enough votes to pass, she announces she will vote no when it doesn’t matter. She never casts a deciding vote against Trump. Now she will claim this shows how she is so “independent.”

Until some politicians with ambition to overthrow the Constitution met up with politicians whose highest ambition is attention on social media and a pat on the head.

The only thing more Lucy-and-the-football than this is the way the media has fallen willingly for the "GOP Deficit Hawks" thing every couple of years since the 1980s.
Ah. thank you for highlighting the days when the Red Army advanced rapidly thanks to western military aid. Now, without without it, Russia has taken 4 and a half years to advance 60km. More than 20 times less than the Red Army managed in WW2 thanks to lend lease.
