ZELENSKYY: At this very moment, when we are talking about peace, America gives Russia the opportunity to export diesel — that's millions, billions. It all goes toward the war against people, against Ukraine, against all of us.

FWIW: theologically speaking, the NAE (which represents evangelicals w/different capital punishment views) coming out against this is a bigger deal than the USCCB (a tradition that explicitly condemns the death penalty, full stop). The fact that they’re using the same terms is quite a thing.

NEW from me: The National Association of Evangelicals (along with several other religious groups) are now joining the USCCB in condemning Defense Sec. Pete Hegseth’s plans to publicly execute Nidal Malik Hasan, also saying doing so promotes a “culture of death.” religionnews.com/2026/10/09/h...

an ai system doesn't have a will, intention or feelings. nor the capacity to want or care. a neural network does not go rogue, escape, or rebel. just tech bros' narratives projected onto machines. and pls, don't mansplain my post to me

So they asked me to delete half the deck: •screenshots of scientific articles •George Floyd’s autopsy report •med students holding signs for “White Coats for Black Lives” •a cartoonish image of Musk lest we offend the trillionaire •Butler quote: “choose your leaders with wisdom & forethought” ETC

I’m in DC scheduled to give this talk today. But the organizers flagged slides in my deck that mention racism, structural gaslighting, New Jim Code and other themes that are off limits in the Land of the Free.

Minor fly in the ointment: my guy who makes my rollers, who I’m waiting on for rollers for the new flatbed press, that I need for production printing of the bauble text, has, for reasons beyond his control, been delayed producing them, and I really need them next week and don’t know if I’ll get them

Productivity as an adult is just an endless process of applying new psychological tricks and operant conditioning to yourself until an acceptable number of tasks are completed.

I cannot overstate how much I have built my entire personality around persisting at hard things, which may help to explain why I find rarely find AI tools to be useful.

I don't think Anthropic specifically should be able to tell me what to do in any capacity when I very specifically put "hey, no stealing!" on all my creations and they said "lol."
