WB forcing Harry Potter into the public consciousness to artificially generate demand for it gives new meaning to the phrase “astroterfing.”
People don't believe me, but I'm TELLING you, there MUST be an active campaign strategy happening in media published by WB or other parts of JK's team trying to force HP awkwardly and unnaturally into public consciousness. Certainly from the WB side, I've seen multiple properties doing it already.

what sucks about the harry potter stuff is that no matter how much you yell, there's a lot of people who are just fucking losers. they have no taste, they don't care about the world around them. They just live shitty lives that revolve around the 3 shitty things they like and then they die.
I don’t care where you started out on the political spectrum If your kid comes out as trans & you don’t become a rainbow-clad, parade-cheering ally & rock-solid supportive girl/boy/enby dad/mom? You were never a parent at all You were a doll collector furious they didn’t stay in their packaging.

But @jessiegender.bsky.social is right - think of the amount of times HBO commented on GOT leaks and downloads, just as an example. They DO track these things, and even that drives interest. Let this show die. Trans people deserve better.
