Arday's scholarship was about making immediate and material improvements in people's lives. I think that should be the first thing people remember about him

Here are some of the influential papers written by Jason Arday, whose subject was the sociology of education. It is not surprising in the least that a neuroatypical Black scholar was in an advantageous position to offer valuable perspectives on his area of research, which seems essentially to have been: How do we dismantle racial inequality in our institutions, so that everyone can learn, and teach, and contribute to society, to the best of their ability? Understanding Mental Health: What Are the Issues for Black and Ethnic Minority Students at University? (The social science, 2018) Attempting to break the chain: reimaging inclusive pedagogy and decolonising the curriculum within the academy (Educational Philosophy and Theory, 2020) Same storm, different boats: the impact of COVID-19 on Black students and academic staff in UK and US higher education (Higher Education, 2022)

It's quite simple. Very rich people are blaming immigrants and disabled people, for stealing all the money (exactly as Adolf Hitler did). Because they are stealing all the money. This trick is literally hundreds of years old, and it is the only one they have.

Autistic (diagnosed or self identifying)? 2. Aged 18 or over? 3. Living in the UK? We are exploring autistic people’s experience of dancing - or choosing not to dance. Dance can mean anything from having a boogie in the kitchen, dancing in clubs and other social settings, to attending a dance class. The online survey takes about 30-60 minutes depending on how much you’d like to share. It includes questions about your background (e.g. age and gender) and your experiences of dancing and watching dance, or choosing not to dance. Some members of the research team are neurodivergent and the survey was developed with autistic project advisors.
