My statement on the harmful EHRC guidance coming in to force today 🏳️⚧️
Dr Stephenson really gives the vibe of the supply teacher everyone mocked. I'll defy the guidance hun, but it won't be performative - I'm just going to ignore it as should every trans person who can safely do so!
lol the Times can’t even get the acronym right
Does anyone work in museum interpretation? How's it been affected by social media and short-form content basically rewiring our brains? Are labels still in? Do we need to radically rethink things? I'm thinking of writing something.
We will not comply with the EHRC 'guidance', and neither should you. Take action for trans liberation.
Trans men can have a penis @mrjamesob.bsky.social They can also use urinals. And, while we are here, trans men are banned from the men's AND The women's under this update.
🚨We have written to all MP's expressing our anger at the government. Our rights WILL be restored. Our voices WILL be heard. We will continue to fight 🏳️⚧️✊
I cannot emphasize how much of a non-issue this is. I use the women's. Doctors ask when my last period was. Airport security looks back up at me when I hand them my passport. I have navigated life smoothly as a woman for years, and I am only endangered by the ideological fixations on denying that.
Anyway i will just continue using the women’s toilet cause I am a woman and over my dead body will you deny who i am

The EHRC's new Code of Practice comes into effect today. Here's what you need to know. transactual.org.uk/know-your-ri...
Judge her on "introducing segregation"
Our code of practice for services, public functions and associations comes into force today. It provides practical guidance on how the Equality Act 2010 applies to services, public functions and associations. Find out more: https://ow.ly/alIf50Zwrkx
Welcome to day 1 of the bullies charter being given some legal clout. Remember the Code is not law, and apples to service providers, not service users. What this does is now make it a lottery every time a trans person wants to use a public loo or service, because it's now up to the manager.
The EHRC's Code of Practice has been condemned as a "system of segregation", "impractical and inhumane", and even "genocidal in nature" It comes into force today
Love and solidarity to all my trans siblings today and every day. For those in the UK - I am thinking of each and every one of you, hoping you have a safe day. Don't let the bastards grind you down <3 goodweeplace.com/guidance

I have no idea how things are going to be in the UK tomorrow when this segregation and Toilet Policing comes into effect. I'm less concerned with rules, guidance's meanings etc and more terrified of how abusive people are going to feel greenlit to do potentially dreadful things to anyone they want.
Do try to remember that the EHRC guidance only affects service providers and not employment, so if you work somewhere where there are toilets or changing rooms for employees that aren’t open to the public then your employers are wrong if they try to stop you from using facilities for your gender
It was'nt just anti-trans groups listed in the Amnesty articles. Anti-abortion groups were listed too. Makes you think.
To all my trans friends in the UK, look after yourselves today 💜
Once safe, write down the time, place, names, descriptions and exact words used. Keep receipts, photographs, messages or witness details where available. Consider making a written complaint to the venue afterwards.
If the situation feels unsafe Leave if you can do so safely. Move towards staff, friends, security or a busy public area. Do not stay to win the argument. Call 999 if you are threatened, trapped or in immediate danger.
If a member of staff approaches you “I am not discussing private information in a bathroom. If there is an issue, please speak to me discreetly outside.” “I need safe toilet access. What private option can you provide?” “I am not answering questions about my body, medical history or legal status”
From their scripts for Individuals - If another member of the public approaches you “I need privacy. Please leave me alone.” “I am not discussing this with you. Please get a member of staff.” “Do not block me or follow me.”
I am using the goodweeplace.com scripts & have them printed off

EHRC Code of Practice comes into effect today so remember to be an absolute pain in the arse to any service provider who is trying to actively enforce it.

Love, hugs, and solidarity for the British trans community on this day which will live in infamy. May everyone get the dignity and respect they deserve. And may everyone supporting this get everything they wish for trans people. ❤️🏳️⚧️✊️
"Biological sex" is a term from anti-trans activism, not from biology. It has no clear meaning, and I would quite happily state (under oath if necessary) that my biological sex is female. And I will pee in the ladies' on account of being a fucking lady.
Another instance of trans people being right and transphobes being wrong.
wow really

Solidarity with trans people in Britain today. Fuck the EHRC guidelines.
