A large part of the reason Communism struggles in America is simple if you work with students. The loudest advocates can't place a fence post or change an inner tube without handholding. If you've never worked for a living you're entering the game with negative rapport.

The reason we have all these Claude-built recomp/decomp projects is because the AI dorks couldn't figure out how to shoehorn LLMs into games that were made 20 years ago so they all got together and had their agents do a little brainstorming and came up with a strategy to ruin yet another good thing.

Every stitch tells a story of love, community, and remembrance. Volunteers across MN created the "Stolen Neighbors Quilt" with 11,000 squares to honor Minnesotans detained by ICE. Each fabric square represents a neighbor, a family member, and a life impacted by deportation. We stand for Justice!

the left still gets shit about Tulsi Gabbard after she 1) ran hard right in the 2020 D pres primary 2) got chased out of the House that year by a joint effort btwn the left and establishment 3) looked directly into the camera and said "I am now a conservative Republican who works for Donald Trump"

It’s convenient for them to be able to point at them and claim they represent the left ig

If you're ever wondering if you have good heroic teachers that deserve the world or shitty lazy academics who barely do their own work there's a real easy way to find out Ask the school staff about the faculty

My hot take on the loser uncle beef right now: Macklemore was fine with all of Ed Sheerans known bullshit behavior when he signed on with the tour. He saw his dwindling crowd size and took a social cause as marketing. Just like he did with gay marriage and police brutality He's Mackled enough.

Hey look dummies are talking about advantage gambling again Here's your regular reminder that in a modern casino the cheap tables have auto shufflers and the single deck tables have high minimum bids. Also big wins are a marketing opportunity. They like big winners. They pull in more losers.

Did you know, through Bill C-37 the Liberal government has refused to confirm the human right of all First Nations individuals to clean drinking water on reserve. Previous water legislation explicitly recognized this right, but the Liberals have deliberately removed it in Bill C-37. (1/2)

When my son was 5 he had a sartorial flair To go to arts delicatessen he wore a midnight blue cape, top hat &monocle As we were leaving an older gent stopped him saying “young man, i like your style” Meant the world to our son that man was Bob Mackie RIP

Ms. Rachel: "Ed Sheeran had an opportunity…Instead he caved to people who refuse to accept what the world knows." "If more than 20,000 white children were killed…everyone would be shouting…Treating some children's lives as less worthy of outrage is racist. Silence during a genocide is not neutral."

Ms. Rachel post:
"Ed Sheeran had an opportunity show that we won't be bullied into punishing people for supporting Palestine. Instead he caved to people who refuse to accept what the world knows. A genocide is happening in Gaza. We all need to speak out against it.

New: Macklemore says Robert Kraft — who owns Gillette Stadium, where Macklemore & Ed Sheeran were to perform later this month — called Sheeran. Kraft rallied other owners together behind an ultimatum for Sheeran: if Macklemore stays on the tour, you won't be allowed in our venues.

I'm not sure how to start this. So I'm going to speak from the heart and share the truth. Ed Sheeran and his team have made the decision to remove me from The Loop tour.
But before I get into it, I want to say something that should be obvious. In this moment I think it matters. I am not a victim. Ed Sheeran is not a victim. Pink is not a victim. We have careers, money, opportunities, safety and audiences around the world. Whatever consequences any of us face for what we say, we get to go home to our families.

The victims are the Palestinian people. The men, women and children who have been killed, starved, displaced and forced to live through unimaginable violence. More than 20,000 children have been killed in Gaza alone. People are being killed today, and people will be killed tomorrow. I want to make sure that as I tell this story, we don't lose sight of that.

Ed is my friend. I've known him for 13 years. We've shared late nights, studio sessions and stages. He has this infectious magic about him that I've grown to love. I consider him a brother. And because of that, we've had some difficult conversations this past week. The type of talks rooted in love and respect for one another that still end in a place of fundamental disagreement. Nothing I'm writing here is out of spite or because I want to tear down his character. But as I told Ed multiple times on the phone, our friendship can't change my responsibility to tell the truth about what happened.

Last Monday, in the middle of all the media attention surrounding Pink and what I said at MetLife, Ed told me that Robert Kraft called him. We were scheduled to play Gillette Stadium later this month, which is owned by the Kraft Group. Ed told me that Kraft said I would not be allowed to perform in his stadium. Ed also told me that Kraft had rallied some of the other
stadium owners and collectively they gave him an ultimatum: if Macklemore stays on the tour, you will not be allowed to play in our venues.

Ed was in …
