How far the Apple quality bar has fallen... you can't even update apps anymore. Clicking "Download" just puts you in an endless loop, as seen in the image below. 🤦‍♂️ (And no, I'm not updating the OS, as that'll just break more stuff. 😅)

Due to the recent @nytimes profile on my filmstrip preservation work, several donors have found me and offered more stuff to save. This is all the stuff I've gotten in the past month. My wife and I will be opening these donations live tomorrow night. Please share & join us! https://uncom.cc/w3gwv

I’m in this video in a couple spots! Clint caught me dropping off some Macs and a tape drive enclosure on the free pile, and later he stops by my table where my 486 with PicoIDE and PicoGUS is playing the intro to Return to Zork VERY LOUDLY

New LGR travel vlog! youtu.be/w-XF5j6x0hs The 2026 Vintage Computer Festival Midwest experience as it was for my brother Luke and I during that weekend in September. I drove directly to the show this time, so no Chicago city stuff unfortunately. But I ended up seeing a lot more of the show itself!

Finally met Steve from @mac84.bsky.social! This was his Power Mac 7100/80, with an Apple developer HDD plugged in.. It has all sorts of things including System 7.0 beta disk images, which install normally on a Mac. Also has System 7 internal release notes too! 😮

Ok I'm officially putting out the call for help, Wonderbread (my prius) is acting up and I think it's unsafe to drive it to Chicago. Looking for folks driving through Pittsburgh to #VCFMW. I will need a little bit of cargo space.
