Reading has been slow but Notes From A Regicide really grabbed me. A fantasy novel, of sorts. Beautiful, sad, sharply observed book about revolution, art, family, and trans life.

Me, learning a new game: Is this one of those games where it's rude to try hard and win? I need to know beforehand, mostly so I can add it to the long list.

Random career tidbits: I have two out-of-print published games (won't say which) that went from initial concept meeting to "files to the printer" in less than a week. Quarriors was turned down by 5 publishers before Wizkids took it. I've still designed more TCG content than any other type of game
