Sometimes I browse through heritage auctions and I find the occasional odd gem, but today I stumbled upon the mother-load: these ridiculous grocery store ads promoting the release of The Jungle Book, and each one has me absolutely reeling. Sharing them here so you too can share in my bewildered joy

I’ve been round to a neighbour four times now to try and retrieve a parcel that was delivered to the wrong street. I’ve gone daytime, evenings, weekends. I’ve rung the bell. I’ve hammered on the door. The upstairs window is open and I can hear them talking. They will not answer. I despise them.
Thing is though she says her school was dismissed at noon, but 9/11 happened at 2pm UK time and she is from Glasgow. If she was dismissed at noon, the school were in on the plot. Unless of course she went to school on an island in the middle of the Atlantic.

I 100% guarantee you this did not happen and that the boys she’s talking about - she later clarified they were “Pakistani” - do not exist. And yet, I can also assure you Eve is *absolutely convinced* she saw this.

god I would LOVE THIS but also I was on Pointless once, crashed out and then never watched Pointless again and I don’t think I could handle never seeing Only Connect again

This has reminded me of a similar issue at work. There is a local area called Queen’s Park. The Westminster ward covering this area is called Queen’s Park. Our ward covering this area is called Queens Park. There has been no apostrophe since 1964 and I have begun the campaign to see it inserted
