Why is it that every time I start a story thinking “oh this is going to be a fun one” it goes depressing? I might be cursed

I messed up with my library holds and had to go pick up A TON of books. On the bright side, I’ve got plenty of books to chose from now! On the not so bright side, sixteen books is a lot of pressure. Still not sure what the max number of books I can have put at once and I’m scared to find out.

It's been basically a year since THE FLESH OF THE SEA dropped. Despite the difficulties getting this book to print, I'm still immensely proud of myself and @shelleylavigne.bsky.social. To work together with my friend is an experience I wouldn't trade for the world. Wil+Jean 4eva💖

very little beats the feeling of figuring out what is wrong with a project you're working on, putting those changes into effect and realize what you've come up with is even better than you thought it would be!

You can't defend gore, violent, gruesome media without defending sex and erotic media. Both go hand in hand, there's eroticism in the grotesque, theres horror in the sensual. Your "purity" about sex won't save you if you think making war is better than making love
