This is a novella or short novel that is especially hard to "pitch" to people. I think if you enjoy surrealism/absurdism, post-apocalyptic stories, picaresque "well, that was just a bunch of stuff that happened!" plots, ambiguity, open endings, & introspection, you'll likely get something out of it.
