Summer is drawing to an end with cooler air in the evenings and shorter days, which means it's time to listen to Slint and Fugazi.
Found some Weirdpunk titles on the physical shelves at the Cleveland Library. I stand in solidarity with workers--with their strikes, with thier actions--and you should too. If your books are on their shelves, speak up (and also even if they aren't). More info on Margaret's post.
I've signed onto an open letter of authors (and publishers) who support the striking workers of the Cleveland Public Library system. If you're an author or publisher and want to sign on too, there's information about how to do so! Tell your friends, etc. tinyurl.com/cplsolidarity

I saw this on Facebook, and I feel like it's a joke made for like ten people. I am, however, one of those people, and I love it.
I want to boost Theo's accusation again because the Horror Writer's Association doesn't seem to have acknowledged it at all. Given that this is about a presidential nominee I would expect there to at least be consideration of the statement.
Hi. Everything I want to say it at the following link, which contains why I think Patrick Barb should not be HWA President. I'm going to step away from socials for a few hours now, and will see you all later. 🫀 CW: sexual misconduct. theodorehill.weebly.com/statement.html

This still isn't done, despite my best effort. Sorry for the delay, folks! But it should be ready very soon!
Our next zine release after ENFREUDIFICATION is Profane Sorcery Vol. 4. Jonathan Raab and Timaeus Bloom join me this time for some incredibly strange takes on the Sword & Sorcery genre. This one is in the last stretch of production and then will be off to the printers! Preorder available now.

This was my factor book in my 20s. It's so good. I had no idea they'd made a film adaptation.
I wrote a bit about Jack Black’s YOU CAN’T WIN, one of my all-time favorite books, and Robinson Devor’s long-shelved adaptation of it, which has recently been released on streaming with no fanfare (the poster is atrocious, but I thought the film was good): boxd.it/fHqqxT

I don't know who was asking for an endless parade of Big Bang Theory spin-offs, but I wish them a terrible time.
