I live within walking distance of the Minnesota State Fair. I can usually tell how busy it’s going to be based on the on-street parking situation in my neighborhood. This year it’s extra claustrophobic. Relatedly, I am obsessed with tracking attendance numbers. They are SUPER EXCITING so far …

When we moved to Minnesota, we met our new neighbors and they asked, “Are you going to the Fair? You excited?” I said I didn’t know if we were going and asked if the Fair was going on now or something. This conversation was taking place on March 6th.
