isaac@sevier.io · 2d agoListen if you don't think it's a good idea to organize to block the construction of data centers - which are literally building out fleets of fossil gas power plants - then you are clueless about what the organizing is going to look like to stop the use of fossil fuels.
The is white privilege in action. There are brown and Black people who are sitting in detention for months, AFTER they already gave up on their valid claims to be here and agreed to be deported. Then they’re deported shackled on an ICE flight while this guy, who had no valid claim, goes commercial.

For context all of Germany, the 4th largest economy in the world is around 3GW of datacentre capacity so this is like adding three Germany’s worth of datacentres and powering it all with fossil gas 😬

The conversation about AI in health stuff is always about the risks of patients using AI. I'm more worried about possibilities like every appointment gets inspected by an insurance company in detail so that if a patient uses the slightly wrong words about something their care is denied.
