There was a pit bull in the game shop today, so I got to browse Warhammer and pet a dog, which is pretty much the best my life can get right now. (His name was Teddy and he was a very very good boy even if he thought his parents’ war dolly hobby was boring.)
What I want for trans + people in the UK. The puberty blocker ban lifted. The toilet ban scrapped. Supreme Court ruling overtuned/made ineffective. An informed consent model for gender affirming care. Self ID. Non-Binary people legaly recognised. No trans + censorship in schools.
Seeing every small business, be it a local restaurant, a moving company, whatever, all having AI logos and AI ads, really puts into perspective just how many artists are out of jobs now. All those little sustaining jobs where someone just needed a quick thing for $50 to $200 are just gone.

Ozzie's eye feels and looks better, after a few days of NSAIDs and various eye drops, but he decided y'all would rather see him being cute and sleepy with his eyes closed so...anyway, this is who HomeCon is benefitting.

Every time someone like Graham dies and people are like "well, we disagreed on a lot but he was great" I keep wondering if I'm just really weird that I could never say I was "friends" with a warmongering bigot or what. It's not like the disagreements were pizza toppings.
Home to my pups. Ozzie has what looks like a corneal ulcer or some other eye issue that’s very painful for him so back to the vet we go tomorrow. I’m beyond grateful I have a wonderful, savvy dog sitter who I trust to care for my babies even if something comes up.

Ozzie had a mild issue before I left on this trip so I’ve been nervously waiting for lab results, and tonight I’m just ready to get home to him. And his chaotic little sister, who’s in perfect health but I mean look at that face.
Bless old D&D players. They are some of my favorite people who stop by my table and every one of them is so happy to talk about our shared hobby. And not a single one has anything mean spirited, gatekeepy, or bigoted to say. Those guys just stay in their dungeons I think.
