Hey friends! This week has been kind of lousy and on top of it all, my latest payment is delayed. I have new prints in my online shop after my cons, as well as signed copies of The Dogsitter 1-3! Help a girl limp through till this check hits. <3 (Bless you, Bsky, and your weird cropping choices.)

THE VAMPIRE LESTAT 8X10 Print

For all my broken-hearted beasties, this illustration features Sam Reid as Lestat from the AMC series. 8X10 print on high quality matte paper.

Me, playing Warhammer and rolling saves for a lone model that is hanging on with one health point left: Haha, it’s fine, I just need to roll two sixes. *immediately rolls this* Me: I AM THE CHOSEN OF KHAINE. 🩸🎲

He has been LONG overdue but I finally added Wyll to my BG3 portrait lineup! He’ll be available as a 5x7 print at GalaxyCon Des Moines this weekend and on my online shop afterwards. #bg3 #wyll

If y’all need to know how tired I’ve been I realized I hadn’t updated my profile since before GalaxyCon Raleigh…and tomorrow I head to GC Des Moines! Anyway, come say hi, pick up a copy of The Dogsitter, and buy some art!

If you are in Iowa at Galxy Con Des Moines this weekend, then you have made some good life decisions. Come find me in Artists Alley all three days and come to see @heatherantos.bsky.social , @meganlevens.bsky.social , @andeparks.bsky.social , @tanaford.bsky.social and I at our Friday panel.

Why is my dad texting like he's an NPC on a videogame

Omg @therealmrsweary.bsky.social I just saw this incredible cosplayer at GalaxyCon San Jose!!!

San Jose! Come to my first ever created and moderated panel: [A Space Odyssey: Creating Space on the Page] with my friends who've also worked on sci-fi books with licenses like Star Wars and Star Trek, @crashwong.bsky.social @tanaford.bsky.social & @meganlevens.bsky.social! #GalaxyCon

I just wish that people would understand that racism is not hurt feelings

Anyway,

I went to the movies today with my friend who has a blue heeler, and we laughed very specifically at the trailer for The End of Oak Street…seeing a heeler onscreen with a bunch of velociraptors felt very

I’m caught up on SNW & no, this most recent episode wasn’t the best ever, but I hope we’re going to get that power ballad cover on its own. So far this season has been more enjoyable for me than S3. And there are no new ideas, yadda yadda, but it reminded me of “Scratch N Sniff” from Farscape.

I know the nerds I am friends with will enjoy it so: it seems like a good portion of the Pitt cast will be going a Star Trek table read.

Here’s a commission I did for my friends @rondanchan.bsky.social and @cattifer.bsky.social. A lot of pressure when you’re making a piece for two artists you admire!

Hey, instead of throwing 96 bucks at midj0urney & getting only slop, ugly ass D&D portraits out of it… I offer you 350+ handcrafted designs for just $1! There's also a $5 tier with cute little variants now, thanks to us consistently hitting 500+ Patrons!!! patreon.com/Myrmidia 🤍👉👈

There was a pit bull in the game shop today, so I got to browse Warhammer and pet a dog, which is pretty much the best my life can get right now. (His name was Teddy and he was a very very good boy even if he thought his parents’ war dolly hobby was boring.)

What I want for trans + people in the UK. The puberty blocker ban lifted. The toilet ban scrapped. Supreme Court ruling overtuned/made ineffective. An informed consent model for gender affirming care. Self ID. Non-Binary people legaly recognised. No trans + censorship in schools.

Seeing every small business, be it a local restaurant, a moving company, whatever, all having AI logos and AI ads, really puts into perspective just how many artists are out of jobs now. All those little sustaining jobs where someone just needed a quick thing for $50 to $200 are just gone.

Me, after a four day convention in another state: Oh man, I’ve missed my dogs, I’m so happy to see them! One of my dogs: WHO ARE YOU AND WHY ARE YOU KIDNAPPING ME

someone sent some money into a fundraiser called "poorly drawn pets" and got this back of their dog. I can't express how much I love it. I've been looking it over and over and it keeps cracking me up. Do this. Don't do gen AI. There is magic in drawing.

Ozzie's eye feels and looks better, after a few days of NSAIDs and various eye drops, but he decided y'all would rather see him being cute and sleepy with his eyes closed so...anyway, this is who HomeCon is benefitting.

Thank you everyone who's placed a "HOMECON" order online! The sale is still going through tomorrow, with Buy3Get1 stickers and free shipping over $45 (automatically applied at checkout, no code needed!). Just restocked my popular Mollymauk print, too!

If you, like me, love Jimothy, check out some of his neighborhood orgs in this ongoing thread and consider donating so that they can help other beloved trash pandas and such, whether they are cryptid shaped or regular trash friend shape, Seattle folks, feel free to add other wildlife rescues! 🖤🦝

Hey Seattle folk, in honor of Jimothy's well-deserved fame, what are the best wildlife rescues in his general area? It would be so nice to collect some of the internet's love & pour it back into rescues & shelters that would be called upon to save/aid any of Jimothy's brethren in need? 🖤🦝
