10 years ago Netflix pushed a preview for a show called Stranger Things. 8 years ago, in a "new book" project about friendship, I presented my first paper on it. That book has morphed and changed from friendship to portal fiction to now "just" Stranger Things. Research is weird, y'all.

I know this ship has sailed, been smashed to bits on the rocks, and the crew all eaten by sea monsters, but just imagine what would be happening right now if President Obama had just paid $5.6 million to a woman he raped.
