“What if we invented something's boring to keep the plot from happening, then every episode was about the boring thing failing to go away?” - every multi season TV show right now, apparently.
The Times, one of the leading voices when it comes to 'protecting women and girls' calling a man who assaulted his young pregnant girlfriend, said he would rape the kids if he was a teacher and called for child sex abuse porn to be legal, 'brilliant'

The media is desperate to find some reason why Elon Musk's politics are complicated or more sophisticated than they seem, because the simple truth is too ugly for them to admit - an actual Nazi is the world's wealthiest person, and his companies hold substantial American government contracts.
Happy publication day to The Diary of Spider-Man! I‘m so proud of this exciting book and I hope that spider-fans will dig it! #spiderman
The entire 1973 article Peter Bogdanovich wrote for New York Magazine about working with Sergio Leone: scrapsfromtheloft.com/movies/peter...
PETER BOGDANOVICH ON HIS (BRIEF) EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH SERGIO LEONE - Scraps from the loft
My experiences with Leone prove that directors should never collaborate. It is, as Mailer has described it, a totalitarian job.

Out today! Where’s The Poo graphic novel by me and Alex Hunter! Is this the the silliest book I’ve ever written? Maybe. Is this the most fun I’ve had writing a book in ages? Definitely!
“If there is a question to ask, then, it is this: Why does Musk get a pass? Why do politicians, journalists and commentators treat his far-right racist radicalism as a sideshow rather than the core of his political, ideological and industrial project?”

Looks like the Government are allocating taxpayer's money to AI companies with no checks on whether or not they have trained their models using stolen data. In theory at least, a reward of our money for stealing our copyright material. Utterly mindboggling. Write to your MP.
I've confirmed that the UK's new Sovereign AI Fund does no due diligence on whether AI companies use copyrighted work without permission before investing in them. It took me 3 Freedom of Information requests to find this out: 🧵 1/10
"Starting July 19, 2026, the European Union officially banned large fashion companies from destroying unsold clothes, shoes, and accessories. Instead of sending perfectly good products to landfills or burning them, companies must now donate, recycle, or repurpose them." via No one Cares
After The Economist’s interview with Elon Musk, will major media finally reassess how they cover the fascist billionaire? As its editor-in-chief did the rounds saying she was “not a Musk hater,” he was on X calling her a traitor to the West and suggesting she be murdered. Please, have some dignity.

Why does the media keep debasing itself for a man who despises them?

Last night I attended the cast and crew screening of Rogue Trooper by Duncan Jones. It was utterly incredible. I don’t know the franchise and had no clue what it was about , even though I recorded a very short voice sequence used in the film. I can honestly say it’s an amazing movie.
