The Records of Early English Drama is delighted to announce the open access publication of the tenth digital edition in the REED series. The dramatic records for the Swan Playhouse, edited by Sally-Beth MacLean, are now available on REED Online (ereed.org/collections/...).

More of this framing, please. The ability to think and work across multiple domains, professional and otherwise, is the whole point of a liberal arts education. If graduates in any major can build a career in a field they never imagined at 19, that's a strength, not a failure of vocational training.

We got two baby kitties and I named them Milton and Marlowe. Also, my honors students got matching tattoos (not pictured, sorry) based on a medieval manuscript. Where does all this go on my CV?

Two adorable tabby kittens, approx 3 months old, sitting on a chifforobe in front of a bouquet of Lego flowers and next to the OED. On the left is a white and gray kitty named Milton. He is curious and leaning toward the camera. Between him and the OED is a fully gray tabby named Marlowe. He is skeptical, maybe.

this reminds me about how the scam email trainings I have to do like every month at this job always highlight "scammers add in a message of urgency to get you to click the link without thinking about it" as a key element.

Eric Schmidt really said, in his much-booed AI graduation speech, “if someone offers you a seat on the rocket ship, you do not ask which seat, you just get on.” Unbelievable

HELP WANTED!! @stemma.bsky.social I am working on Folger MS V.b.370, a self-proclaimed 'Rich Cabinet'. The compiler clearly loved giving their MSS ostentatious titles, my favourite being 'My Merchant Ship Laden with Variety of Wares'. Ever come across these MSS titles below? Please get in touch 1/3

I am running a creative nonfiction workshop in Spring 2026! We’re going to focus on form. *rubs hands together* If you’ve published an essay (or read a recent essay) that mixes academic criticism with another form and/or CNF techniques, please tell me so!

Dreamt I was working on my dissertation and had gone to Atlanta to use the library at Emory. I wrote call numbers for everything, then I tried to go to the stacks. The elevators would go to a couple of floors, but not the floors I needed.

It's so fucked up to have been a kid during the D&D is the devil freakout and the Tipper Gore dirty lyrics freakout and live to see the teen suicide machine get such a pass.
