Further bird research has enlightened me. I’m hearing wooing calls from the bachelor doves, not pairs. So my YT broadcast of dove cooing is less a love triangle and more “Hey toots, nice tufts! You wanna come sit up on my perch! 😘” Love in all its splendors, amirite?
